How I Manage Flower Beds & Trees
My overall objective in any landscape I work in is to manage according to site conditions and do whatever it takes to keep plants healthy and thriving.
"Right Plant, Right Place" is a key motto of my service and it is pivotal in managing more resilient and overall better looking landscapes.
I believe in allowing each plant to be in its natural form and designing around that. When I trim plants I utilize selective pruning based on the individual plant's needs and not just hedge trimming every plant in sight.
I do not use any chemical pesticides whatsoever so weeds and insect pests are managed naturally by mechanical and environmental practices.
Pine straw is the mulch I use as it is the most functional for landscapes here in Baton Rouge, LA and also provides a great look.
Natural, lush, and flowery is the aesthetic I'm generally always striving for.

What are my credentials? I am licensed in Landscape Horticulture (#4644), licensed in Arboriculture (#2839), and a Certified Louisiana Native Plant Professional.
What makes Healthy Home Landscapes different from other landscape companies? I am a licensed independent contractor that works directly with customers. All my services are done without the use of environmentally harmful landscape chemicals and loud gas powered tools. I have extensive plant knowledge as well as knowledge of natural systems and community infrastructure. Landscape care is both a professional and personal passion of mine and I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do!
